2 ISI-backed terror modules busted: Pistols, petrol bombs seized, 9 arrested

Police commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar addresses mediapersonsAmritsar: Punjab Police busted two ISI-backed cross-border terror modules with the arrest of nine persons, including four juveniles, police commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said on Tuesday.Three illegal pistols, nine live cartridges, four petrol bombs, and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the suspects: Vansh Kumar (19) and Anmol Singh (20), both residents of Patti in Tarn Taran; and Harman Singh (24), Sukhdev Singh (30), and Sukhman Singh (19), all from Amritsar.Bhullar said the accused were attempting to recruit local youth for terror-related activities and conduct surveillance of security installations at the behest of ISI handlers.In a separate operation, police arrested two juveniles and recovered a .32-bore country-made pistol, two petrol bombs, and a lighter from their possession.
