Accordingto news agency PTI, at least six fire brigade vehicles were rushed to thescene. Firefighters brought the fire under control, but suddenly, a part of thebuilding gave way.Police said a side wall and an iron beamcollapsed while fire personnel were battling the blaze, seriously injuring fivefirefighters: Chief Constable Driver Rajpal Singh, Fireman Manish Kumar, ChiefConstable Driver Tirathpal Singh, Fireman Amit Kumar and Fireman Rohit Yadav.All five were rushed to a hospital, wheredoctors declared Rohit Yadav and Tirathpal Singh dead during treatment. Theremaining three firefighters are out of danger, police said. Police said officers and teams from theState Disaster Response Force remain at the site.The cause of the fire was not immediatelyknown.
