18 images, videos involving Trump admin that spread with misleading captions

In a climate that mixes extreme political turbulence with an unprecedented age of misinformation, each year it grows exceedingly difficult to determine whether what you are seeing online is not only authentic but presented in the correct context. Both critics and supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration have been guilty of spreading photos or videos that are either purposefully or mistakenly miscaptioned, usually in an attempt to underline a point that aligns with their political beliefs. For instance, Snopes has investigated everything from liberal-leaning claims that a Fox News reporter deliberately misrepresented the color of the green, algae-infested water of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to conservative-leaning claims that a Craigslist ad was used to hire protestors to speak out against Trump. Both the video and the image were miscaptioned and spread online in contexts that were not based in reality. There has been no shortage of such images and videos circulating during Trump's second term, so we've dug into the Snopes archives for media related to Trump and his administration we ultimately determined to be miscaptioned.
