12 Korean universities participate in education fair

Viswanathan visiting the stalls at the ‘Study in Korea Education Fair’ held in Chennai. | Photo Credit: Special arrangement Twelve Korean universities participated in the first ever ‘Study in Korea Education Fair’ organised by the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Chennai in collaboration with The National Institute for International Education.Over 1,000 students interacted with representatives of the universities, which included Kangwon National University, Konkuk University Glocal Campus, Kyungdong University Global, Dongguk University, Chonnam National University, and Busan Health University, a press release stated. The students received one-on-one consultations, insights into academic programmes, admission processes, and campus life in Korea.The fair was inaugurated by Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan in the presence of Consul General Hye Ran Chun. The Minister emphasised launching more Korean language centres with the support of the Higher Education Department.
