10 Pitt Panthers Named to Shrine Bowl Watch List

Pittsburgh Sports Now The start of a college football season means preseason watch lists and today, the East/West Shrine Bowl released their Watch List, and the Pitt Panthers were well represented.Ten players on the 2026 Pitt football team were named to the Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl 1000, which is a watch list of players eligible for the 2027 NFL Draft and their annual All-Star game. The following Pitt Panthers have been named to that list:–Ryan Baer, Offensive Tackle–Cruce Brookins, Safety–Sean FitzSimmons, Defensive Tackle–Nick James, Defensive Tackle–Malik Knight, Wide Receiver–Braylan Lovelace, Linebacker–Netinho Olivieri, Offensive Guard–Jimmy Scott, Defensive End–Raion Strader, Cornerback–BJ Williams, Offensive GuardThe list of players placed on the Watch List are put together following evaluations from different levels of college football personnel along with consultation with NFL scouts. The evaluation consists of a players past performance along with future potential.The 102nd Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl will be played on February 4th, 2027 at A&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
