He has also been accused of making lewd remarks during classes.After the initial complaint was registered with the ICC, several senior students came out in support of the complainants and voiced concerns over the alleged inappropriate behaviour of the professor. Many of them also echoed similar allegations against the person.The ICC is currently looking into the allegations. The JNU administration and the Vice-Chancellor’s Office have not yet issued a statement on the matter. The student body has also not shared any updates yet.
