Deadpool & Wolverine also positions the multiverse more prominently than most MCU movies, which is important as Doomsday will seemingly be all about the multiverse collapsing in on itself. It’s possible that this variant may indeed be Earth-616’s Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland. Holland’s Spidey received a boost in powers in Brand New Day, coupling his spider-sense and superhuman strength with organic webbing, heightened sensory overdrive, and increased speed and agility. Coupled with access to Stark technology and gadgets, this Spider-Man would certainly be a key ally in the fight against Doom. 7 Tobey Maguire As Spider-Man / Peter Parker Tobey Maguire’s triumphant return as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the highlights of the post-Avengers: Endgame MCU. It seems inevitable that Maguire’s Spider-Man will appear again given the reception to No Way Home, and Doomsday is a likely bet for where his return will take place. Maguire’s character was able to do this sort of thing without the armor that Holland’s version possesses, which, coupled with Maguire’s years of added experience as a superhero, render him a more powerful version of Spider-Man. 6 Teyonah Parris As Monica Rambeau The post-credits scene for The Marvels indicated that Monica Rambeau was in the universe of the classic X-Men. As the X-Men are confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, Rambeau will surely play a role in some capacity. The last time Rambeau was seen, she was still mastering her skills, but her ability to manipulate energy along the electromagnetic spectrum means she is a hero with incredible power and untapped potential. Bruce Banner has experience fighting massive threats, including Loki, Ultron, Hela, and Thanos. If available and not trapped in a psyche ward, he would surely be recruited by Sam Wilson to join the Avengers in the fight against Doom. The Hulk possesses remarkable physical strength, which amplifies with rage, although he is a rather unwieldy ally given how out of control he can become. On screen, Captain Marvel is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. She possesses superhuman strength, durability, flight, and the ability to absorb, manipulate, and project vast amounts of cosmic energy. Her hybrid physiology also grants her the ability to breathe in deep space and renders her immune to most toxins.
