One person was killed and three others injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Monday, Aug. 10, as Russian forces struck five districts of the region nearly 60 times using drones, artillery, and an aerial guided bomb (KAB). Nikopol has remained one of the hardest hit areas since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, with the area experiencing near-daily bombardment. Multiple districts damaged In the Synelnykove district, Russian forces targeted the Petropavlivka and Vasylkivka communities, damaging a gas station. The Kryvyi Rih district also came under fire, with the Sofiivka, Novopil, and Hrushivka communities sustaining damage and fires breaking out as a result of the strikes. Russian forces frequently target these districts. On Aug. 3, the Kryvyi Rih district recorded the region’s highest death toll of the day, with three fatalities, including a child, and 11 people wounded, as Russia struck the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 60 times in a single day. On July 30, a Russian missile strike on the village of Radushne in the Kryvyi Rih district killed an entire family of 10 people, including two parents, seven children, and an 18-month-old grandson.
