Their vehicle fell into 110-meter-deep valley in Sitio Maano, Barangay Galonogon, Aguinaldo town. Police Capt. Edwin Inhumang, chief of the Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station, said the three victims were traveling on the motorcycle when it fell into the ravine at around 9:20 p.m. Article continues after this advertisement Authorities withheld the identities of the victims pending notification of the mishap to their families. The back rider died at the scene, while the two other occupants sustained injuries and were rescued before being taken to a hospital for treatment. Police, firefighters and disaster response personnel mounted a rescue operation that concluded at 11:54 p.m. amid the difficult terrain and steep ravine. Authorities said the swift response of the rescue teams helped save the lives of the two injured victims.
